Common questions

Trepa is a numerical forecasting contest with a shared prize pool (pari-mutuel style), not tradable yes/no tokens. What is Trepa?
You can update until the closes. You cannot cancel or withdraw the once placed—only change your . Quick start
Yes—mobile and desktop browsers. Install the app for a home-screen shortcut where supported. We recommend using Solana Mobile for extra perks.
No. Your in-app wallet (Privy) needs USDC for entries and payouts; Trepa covers Solana fees for normal in-app actions. Deposits from outside still pay the sender’s chain fee. Deposit funds, Withdraw funds.

How a round works

One minute: 30 seconds to predict, then 30 seconds to resolve and settle. Quick start
The BTC price at the end of the resolution window. Feed, UTC, and rounding: Resolution and outcome source.
Too few players, identical errors for everyone, or other rare cases: Edge cases.

Winning and scoring

Your error must be strictly below the round’s median error (~half the field wins in a large pool). Prizes: Payout overview. Full rule and math: Winning and losing. Rare shared-best tie: Best-coalition exception.
A 100–1000 per-round accuracy score from log-return error and volatility; it does not decide win/loss. Precision Score, Volatility calibration.
Outcomes where your estimate would beat the median; settlement inside that band means you win. Winning range.
Ranks use CAR—the geometric mean of your per-round Precision Score values, not a simple average. Leaderboards

Claiming rewards

After settlement, rewards are sent to your Trepa wallet automatically—no manual claim. Payout overview

Referrals

Referrals move you up the early-access waitlist and stay on your record for GA. Early access & waitlist

Payouts and streaks

Winners get their entry back plus a prize-pool share by accuracy weight, with per-winner caps. Money flow: Payout overview.
Streaks count consecutive rounds above the app’s Precision Score threshold, independent of winning on the median. A per-metric pool grows from round fees; qualifying streaks pay half to achievers and roll half forward. Accumulator payout
The pool stays at least $100 (auto top-up if needed) with no maximum. If several players trigger a payout together, the achievers’ half splits equally. Formula and example: Accumulator payout.

Transparency

Use the Security Audit links in the top navigation.
Trepa blocks some regions and VPNs to meet regulatory requirements. Mistaken blocks: open a ticket in Discord.

Developers

Yes. Trepa ships an official TypeScript SDK (@trepa/sdk) that wraps every endpoint, signs your transactions, and runs the bot loop for you — see the Quickstart for a working bot in five minutes. The underlying REST API is also documented if you’re using a different language: Direct REST access.
See Writing bots in this docs site, and the open-source SDK on GitHub (including runnable examples under examples/).
