Pools on Trepa are resolved by the Trepa team based on publicly available and verifiable outcome sources.

Timely resolution

Most pools resolve this way when data releases occur on schedule: Prediction Start Date → Prediction End Date → Outcome Release Date → Resolution Date

Special cases

Sometimes, real-world data releases don’t align with the expected timeline.

Scenario 1: Postponed release

What happens: The release is delayed. Prediction Start Date → Prediction End Date → (delay) → Outcome Release Date → Resolution Date Predictions close on the end date as scheduled, but when the release is delayed, the pool will be resolved as soon as the data is available.

Scenario 2: Early release

What happens: The release happens before the end date. Prediction Start Date → Outcome Release Date → Prediction End Date → Resolution Date When a result is released earlier than expected, before the prediction deadline, users will still be able to update their forecasts until the deadline. Although early releases are rare, it is generally in your best interest to react quickly.
It is your responsibility to respond to new information in a timely manner. Staying informed about data releases and market developments is part of the game and essential for successful prediction making.
